Board Resolution (7/11) – No-smoking in common elements (includes residential corridors, stairwells, egress corridors, lobby, mail room, elevators, recycle area, loading zone, and parking garage), and limited common elements (includes patios and balconies) as well as within 25 feet of any common entry or exit.
*These policies prohibit smoking in a wide variety of spaces, but continue to allow smoking inside the units. The only way to effectively protect owners and residents from the dangers of drifting secondhand smoke is to implement a smokefree policy, both inside and out.
